I just turned in my last paper of my undergraduate career.

With any luck there will never be another "Acd needs homework help" thread ever again.

Until grad school....
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Hello friendos
I'm still around, though I honestly forget to come check the boards very much, I do enjoy sweeping in to throw some account delete/bans around, the power has gone straight to my head.  >:D I HOLD SWAY OVER LITERALLY TENS OF PEOPLE! MWHAHAHAH.

*cough*

I'm still living in Oklahoma, though the last 6ish years in a different part of it. I've been going from job to job and taking classes when I can, though this fall I am going fulltime to finish my photography degree at a program here in state. After that, who knows, maybe the UK, that's where I'd like to be anyways.

Hmm what else what else... I'm an Uncle now, my newphew is about 7 months old, and he's pretty awesome.

That'll do for an update on the Pip!

just thought I'd pop in and give my yearly report on the life of Sweetpea:

It seems I'm emotionally stable to hold down a job in a hospital.  I had to bag up a dead guy the other day, I thought it would send me over the edge, it didn't and I'm thankful for that.

I've got a flat and am almost finished decorating it.  Just the last hurdle of glossing and re-papering the bits where Mike scratched the hell out of.  My neighbours are ok, I've gotten to know a few people in the building.  it's not the best but it's definitely better than where I was when I posted last.  it has the advantage of being right on the River Kelvin Walkway, Clyde Canal and several large city parks not that far away.  for a crummy block of flats, it sure is in a nice part of the city :)

I've recently made 2 significant purchases: a new bike (holy shit I've missed cycling) and a new backpack which is so functional, I've still not figured out all the functions.  I'm planning on doing the West Highland Way soon and I'm excited as hell.

things are on the up and I'm quite happy most days

hugs to you all

Just got back from the armpit of Texas (Hewitt) for a wedding, and then moved to the inner armpit of Texas (crawford) for a reception.

Baptist wedding, no alcohol. Needless to say, after four hours in the car, I drank a lot when I got home at 2:00 am.

SO: DRUNK POST!!!!!

I'm not adventurous as those who posted before me, but I'll simply say things have been pretty crazy the last year or so. Kinda vanished from the village, but since a lot of other people did too, no one seemed to notice. Quit my job a couple times, thinking I'm about to earn my Night Owl card. I know a lot more about programming than I did when I (re)joined the village a couple years ago, so I guess that makes  yet another coder as a resource to the board.

Friend of mine in the navy is about to go to work fighting somali pirates. That sounds so awesome, my life seems silly by comparison. Then again I remember I just have to dodge micro-managing CEOs, not bullets.

Speaking of which, thanks for being a badass and keeping us safe, Carib.

Well I'll be damned! I thought I was the only Bastard crazy enough to drink Jameson and Dr Pepper!  Nice!  Dr Pepper and Captain Morgan's is also fun!  But Jameson 12 Year, and a little of the Doctor...mmmm mmmm, very tasty indeed!
LISTER: Look, I don't want any toast, and he doesn't want any toast.  In fact, no one around here wants any toast. Not now, not ever. NO TOAST.
TOASTER: How 'bout a muffin?
LISTER: OR muffins!  OR muffins!  We don't LIKE muffins 'round here!  We want no muffins, no toast, no teacakes, no buns, baps, baguettes or bagels, no croissants, no crumpets, no pancakes, no potato cakes and no hot-cross buns and DEFINITELY no smegging flapjacks!
TOASTER: Aah, so you're a waffle man!

Dr Pepper and Captain Morgan's is also fun!

Sailor Jerry is a better mixer, IMO. It's also 92 proof compared to Captain's 70 proof.

QUOTAMID!

ACD: Diet Dr. Pepper was what I had actually. I know, seems pointless considering that the rest of the alcohol is pure sugar, but I switched to diet sodas about three years ago and that's all I ever have in the house. This concoction was actually born from that convenience.

BC: Then you're doing it right.

Soco? Soco!? SOCO!!!!!???????

I agree with BC.

(Goes off to have a couple fingers of Eagle Rare and forget that someone brought up SoCo in a discussion about alcohol.)

ETA:  And serendipitous unintentional smiley insert (i.e. 3 '?' in a row turns into a confused smiley). Woohoo!

The term Quotamid in general terms, means the quoting of internet forum posts within a quote without adding any content.

There.  I did it again.
