All 25 BG1 NPCs in one tavern
« on: July 18, 2014, 07:10:14 PM »
Well, I couldn't find the Bastard Bar so I had to settle for the Friendly Arms Inn:

I just restarted playing the whole series, using BG Trilogy, Fix Pack, Tweak Pack, Unfinished Business 1, Unfinished Business 2, and the Kit6 Pack.  Graphics a bit dated but overall, pretty good.  Playing through BG1 with BG2 character classes (and the Kit6 Pack kits) is quite cool.

I got BG1 last year, when they started remastering them all, it was a great deal of fun.  :D

The only problem that I had was that I made my character into an old bugger, who was meant to be an old wizard, with a short temper. However, the game started me off as some guy's young apprentice and I had some shiny eyed girl following me around, who was my BF4L or some bollocks. So I had a great deal of fun as soon as I restarted as a young wizard, with a short temper. :D

You can enjoy a grander sight
By climbing to a greater height

I have run out of places to climb. I will abandon this body and take to the air. We will leave twin vapor trails in the air, white lines etched into these rocks. I am the aerial. In my passing, I will send news to each and every star.

DM: You'll need the spider's permission first...

I have yet to play Baulder's Gate, but its on my must-play list along with Planetscape: Torment
In the wasteland, the sly survive and the past and present are one, the sinners rot and the future is the ultimate purgatory

I've always loved the baluders gate games, I REALLY need to get these remastered versions ( and get my damn computer set right so I can enjoy them ) I'm hoping they redo Planescape this way because that's one of my all time favorites right there!
Back from the Wastes after far, far to long....

Also, the friendly arms inn is I believe the only place where you can put them all together, because Gorion's friends that you meet there will always return there when you remove them from  your party. The others stick around where you drop them.
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Did you try BG Tutu? I got the BG:EE on steam, but wonder if the Tutu version is actually better..

I've tried BG tutu but I like BGT (Baldur's Gate Trilogy) better; also, the download is trivial (it includes pretty much everything, and ithe transition between BG1 and BG2 is pretty seamless.  Also, I have not had any problems with any addons or mod kits that I've installed.  I seem to remember a few issues with BG tutu.
