I'm 100% for Ron Paul.

He will be the first Republican I will have ever voted for.  If/when he does not win the primary, I will not switch to anyone else running for President.  I will go the further step of writing him in at the general election next November.

I feel that strongly.  It's the closest I have ever come to admiring a candidate, for ANY party.

Ron Paul as my first choice.

Then Barack Obama as a second.

If not either of them then an inanimate carbon rod. I hope Ghouliani doesn't make it.

Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

Oh! I liked what happened recently with Ghouliani. (I'm simplifying this just to make the story quicker)

Giuliani: "I was with the firemen on 9/11! 9/11 I was there. On 9/11!"

Firefighters: "Eh... he was mainly there for photo ops."

Giuliani: "I was at ground zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers..."

Firefighters: "Eh... he ran."

Giuliani: "I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to."

Later

News: *shows image of Giuliani without a face mask at Ground Zero: "Many workers at Ground Zero are experiencing respiratory aliments, infections and the beginnings of cancer. Is Giuliani in good enough health to be president?"

The entire Firefighters Brotherhood union has officially made him persona non grata, and it was the friggin NY guys wo did it first.

Says a lot about "America's Mayor".

also, everyone knows him for the 3 days after 9-11.  NYers HATED him the other years of his term, and he was on his way to LOSSING reelection of his own city.

Ron Paul?  Friggin rocks.  "Give me back my government, and Give Me Back MY Constitution."

Ya, Ron Paul might go off on a tangent on some non issue stuff(aka currency and such) but overall, he'd be my choice.. especially since hes more of a true conservative.

That's not true.

He won the election twice, and that's all you get as NY mayor. He wasn't on his way to losing - he wasn't even running. Second, most people really liked him his entire run. He was the first NY mayor - in a long time - to actually produce results. Yea, the thugs didn't like him. People who don't like crime? They loved him. He did a nice job in the city - the change was very noticable. The place really needed a guy like him.

I somewhat liked him as a candidate until he used the whole 9/11 thing as his platform. It seems like that's all he's got. He'd run on his NY record, but, that would show his ugly side - he's an egotisical, abrasive MF. He has zero shot at winning.
