Jesus! We are currently living in the biggest global crisis since world war 2. The proverbial works have had a proverbial spanner thrown into them this time!

Fallout 76 is actually playable!

WHAT THE HELL!?

Oh and the Coronavirus thing too...

Anyway, nobody's posted in months! Hope you're all doing okay!
I've been off work, from the earliest point. I'm on the high risk list, due to asthema and other issues.
I was in the process of being diagnosed with it before this disaster hit. I was adamant that I didn't have it. Turns out I do have some form of Asthema.

Yes, the egg on my face is resting rather nicely, thank you!

Not had a difficult tast of keeping myself busy. I'm always busy, afterall...

Please post, even if it's just an emoji or something, so I know you're all still kicking!

Oh and I also have a discord for the Fallout Gravel Pit, it's still going in its own way. The Elder Scrolls one is doing a lot better but I'm hoping to improve things a little. :)

I have run out of places to climb. I will abandon this body and take to the air. We will leave twin vapor trails in the air, white lines etched into these rocks. I am the aerial. In my passing, I will send news to each and every star.

Still alive.

Working in a 24/7 care housing unit for challenging autistic people so no option for working from home here. Luckily no infected patients or staff yet.

As for other stuff, been married for a bit over a year now. Got three cats. Never going to have kids (unless the operation failed... twice). Don't really play much computer games these days but tabletop games with my wife and friends instead. It has been an eye opening couple of years learning what tabletop gaming has to offer nowadays.

Love my new career as practical nurse after 19 years in IT. Leaving my old work was the best decision in my life I think.

Still alive. Still here.

Haven't been impacted too much by the Covid thing. Still at the same workplace I've been for the past two years and change. They've announced that they aren't going to give out raises this year, but considering in the 20+ years I've been doing software this is the first time I've never gotten a raise, and with the world as it is right now, I'm okay with that.

My side business got screwed over by a competitor who decided to sue us with no real basis for the suit under trade practice law. We got them to drop the case in a "walk-away" settlement after about six months of litigation where it got to the point that we would have succeeded in dismissal. So the corporation (i.e. my business partner and I) is in debt to the lawyer a good amount. (Liz did some of the work, but this is not her area of expertise, so we had to hire a specialist in this as well.)

Speaking of Liz, we're still going strong after 13.5 years. Still not married due to her loans from law school, and she's still doing the crusading attorney thing. We're thinking of trying for children later this year since I'm 43 and she turns 38 tomorrow so we're approaching the ages we're at the point where it's kind of now or never due to our ages.

All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Sorry to hear about that bogus lawsuit. :(

Glad to hear that you and the Mrs are still going strong, I hope all of this works out for you. :)

The situation is horrible for so many and we have been touched by it on my wife's side but I'm mostly living the dream just now, I don't need to travel further the living room to get to work, I live in one of the best paces for fresh food in Scotland and people are happy to deliver anything from Buffalo to Fruit and veg then to Lobster.  This situation is actually looking to be where my job is heading, Marie wants to go back to Uni to take a midwifery course but schools are likely to go back two days a week with three days of home schooling so this working pattern would be perfect for us.

FO79 being playable might help sate some of the very slight social yearnings I have, my generation and the ones that came after are probably the best suited for this isolated life, I think I could still sink a few days in to CivII.

I'm not going to lie, it's been similarly great for me as well. I'm working from home but I have no work to do, so I've had time to finish all of the personal projects, that I've always wanted to do, play the new Mortal Kombat Expansion and I've been catching up (online) with a few friends, who I haven't spoken to in a few years.

I feel kinda bad for getting so much out of it, though I guess it's a perk of having no social life. :)

Glad that you're still okay, TK (maybe a little more than). :P
