Hello internet.
Another year has passed, with it's share of hardship and joy.
Another year has passed, filled to it's brim with it's excitements and sorrows.
We have loved and lost, fought and won.
The year saw marked change, in our world and in others (we sent some stuff into space after all)
And, as always, we endured.
For some it was harder than others. For some it was but a dance, or the best year of their life.
As for myself, i've learned a lot about love.
And love is what brings us here.
So today of all days
when commercialism hoisters the flag of Love high above all others
when hearts are shattered to tragic loss
when vows are bound and hugs are hugged.
I invite you to a lonely corner
So that we can be together.
Heres to heartache, friends. The only pain that bears reason.
Heres to friendship, the only ship worth sailing. (unless you are married to the sea)
Heres to Love, for all mankind.
