Am I the only one disappointed with this game?
I will admit they got some things quite right. The wasteland is a pretty impressive environment, graphics and characters look good and the whole thing has that Fallout-y feel to it. However,
1) Hit detection is terrible and non-VATS combat in general is brutally bad.
2) It seems as though the Lone Wanderer is running waist-deep in oatmeal the whole time, very sluggish.
3) Most of the quests are disappointing, particularly the main line.
4) Path-finding is a joke, James got stuck on a rock out-cropping.
5) What quest there are have been simplified compared to previous titles. Tenpenny Tower for instance: Find character; speech check; find character; speech check; find character; speech check, and so on. OR Find character; BANG; find character; BANG.
Meh, boring.
