Clive Owen gave me 6 dollars
« on: October 08, 2008, 07:28:47 AM »
He's here in Adelaide at the moment, working with Scott Hicks.

I delivered thai food to him. He gave me a 6 dollar tip. I thanked him. He closed the door. I realised who he was. I disbelieved it. It was confirmed by the hotel staff... My girlfriend almost murdered me for not getting an autograph.

I didnt have enough to do with him to form an opinion, but in case you'd like to know, the hotel staff were saying he's a prick.

While I found the experience interesting enough to talk about, it has also made me realise how underwhelmed I am by fame. My friends were more excited by their vicarious owen encounter than I was about my actual one.

If you are a obsessive and need deatils: He ate tom yum goong, and green curry chicken, and he was wearing an adidas tracksuit.
I got chocolate bubblegum!

Well, how big a prick can he really be if he leaves a six buck tip? Eh? Eh?
