After making it, I'd highly recommend you either boil the noodles separately or add another can of chicken broth. The noodles ended up draining all the fluid, and I added water and it ended up being watered down. It still tasted really good though. : )

Had to dig this thread up because I discovered Kikkoman Thai-Style Chili Sauce and tried some ground beef with some onion and green pepper with it.

I just cooked the ground beef with the chili sauce while I cooked the veggies separately then added the veggies to the meat for a couple of minutes. I then served it with couscous. It wasn't anything fancy but the chili sauce is very good. It's not hot spicy at all really. It's more of a subdued sweet flavor.

The official description of the sauce is, "Sweet-hot flavor combinations are all the rage, and this colorful Thai-style condiment strikes the perfect balance of fiery Thai chilies and garlic in a sweet and tangy sauce. It's ready to serve as a dipping sauce for grilled foods and appetizers—from satay to crispy eggrolls. And it can be added to dressings, marinades and stir-fries any time you want to add a sweet-spicy kick." I have to say again though that it's not spicy hot IMO.

Oh and make sure to get plain couscous. The flavored kinds are loaded with salt.

All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Not an exact recipe but I just made a nice dinner.

Filet Mignon rubbed with Virgin Olive Oil, Pepper, Texas Seasoning, Salt, Minced Garlic and a tab of butter.

Served with Scallops wrapped in bacon right next to Potatoes rubbed with Olive Oil, Pepper, Garlic Salt and Cajun Seasoning.

Mmmmm

I didn't order it... I made it. =)

i like marinating a lean cut of steak with lemonjuice and olive oil for about half an hour

then cooking it with some black pepper on a grill

really tenderizes the meat and cuts through any real heavy flavors or dryness
"Not really. It's kind of stringy. There are much better meats out there"

I'm making this tonight.

Pineapple Teriyaki Burgers

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 packet beefy onion soup mix (recommended: Lipton)
2 tablespoons ginger teriyaki marinade mix (recommended: McCormick Grill Mates)
1 (8-ounce) can pineapple rings, drained, juice reserved
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon wasabi paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
4 whole-grain burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, onion, for serving

Set up grill for direct cooking over high heat. Oil grate when ready to start cooking.

In a mixing bowl, stir to combine ground beef, soup mix, teriyaki marinade mix, and 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice.

Form 4 patties slightly larger than bun. Gently press pineapple rings into tops of burgers.

Season burgers with salt and pepper and place on grill pineapple side down. Cook 8 minutes per side for medium.

Mix together mayonnaise, wasabi, and soy sauce.

Serve hot on toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, onions, and wasabi mayonnaise.

INDOORS: Follow instructions for preparing burgers. Preheat broiler. Place burgers pineapple side up on wire rack over foil lined baking sheet or broiler pan. Broil 6 inches from heat source for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium.
