Man, that's fucking awesome.

As a good christian, I hope that he dies quickly, so he can hurry on to his eternal reward.  I'm sure God the Father has prepared his reward for the lifestyle he lived.

You guys ever hear about how he left that girl to drown in the canal?

I'm not exactly sure where you're going with that post but I wish Kennedy the best and hope he recovers soon. Certainly not having him serving in DC would be good for the country but I don't wish anything bad happening to him to make that happen.

I hope that he has a relationship with Jesus and goes to Heaven when he dies.  I'll admit that the way he's lived his life would suggest an issue in need of Christ's intervention, but I can't say for sure because I don't have the wisdom or the right.  It's wrong for me to wish hell on anyone, even people who have wronged me personally.  Doing that suggests that I am somehow more righteous or less sinful than Ted in the eyes of God and have the right to judge where he should spend eternity.  I can say that someone like Ted can be forgiven for his sins the same as anyone else if he repents and turns to Christ.  God's grace is sufficient.

If I were to try to analyze the situation without considering any Christian teachings, just to satisfy the athiest/agnostic/other crowd.  It's pretty much a given that you're not supposed to rejoice in another's misfortune, even someone you find detestable.  It damages and reflects on you more than it does the other person.  However, since I am human (read: sinful), I understand why someone might think that way.  I'm as guilty of it as any other person.

I won't say he should burn in hell but at least we don't have to worry about him being on the Senate any more. I think the far ends of the spectrum are starting to die off, and everyone left will be middle ground. That's either going to be awesome or terrible.

I never hated the guy. Although his giant head freaks me out.

Ted Kennedy is a murderer, and he's lived a fabulous life because he's a Kennedy.

I am fucking ecstatic that he's dying!

I don't even remotely feel bad about it, I mean, we're all gonna die, I'm just glad that kennedy will finally get what he deserves

maybe I'm wrong about his soul, and he'll go to heaven, maybe I'm right, he'll burn forever, maybe I'm wrong about souls in general, he'll cease to exist

but at least the shit will be resolved!

I dunno man. If I knew the guy I might have an opinion. But to me right now he's just another asshole. Once he's gone another will take his place (probably from his family).

Maybe Maria Shriver will claim residence in Massachusetts, and will form a Terminator pincer move from the other coast, eventually leading to an army of sub-par actors and journalists who will spout catch phrases and bloated political ideologies until their enemies fall into deep comas (and eventually die from acute brain death).
