Hello? i'm sorry to post this here, but i didn't know where else to go, i'm new to the village but i found out about you through.... well that's kind of a long story.
may i post here in this thread? or is there another place i can go to post about myself?
i am excited to meet you all, as you've all become quite the celebrities in my household.
please reply?

Interesting. . .

I don't think it's a bot but I'm wondering if its an alt.

I'll risk it.

Hello Stranger!  Welcome to the village!  Please put this blindfold on and state your business.  Seriously though, please explain a bit more.  And yea, feel free to post, its pretty easy going here as long as you don't spam or talk to yourself too much.

TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!

Solwyn touched on the topic but I've been a bit depressed over how many times I've thought about "liking" a post.  I'm on Facebook FAR too much.

There is still brain activity, though no motor function...

What do we do?

:tacks "ways to revive the village" letter on wall:

I say we bring back the Debate Forum. Having some issues to debate/discuss might spice things up. And the Gen Disc thread seems really disorganized. Maybe even bring back the games thread, since they're a pretty hot topic. Why did you even combine them anyway?

And see what someone can do about these Spambots?

Feel free to Add

I was the one that suggested "all one forum", but I did like a good debate...

Agreed, but the Mod for that forum should set up guidelines for questions so we can have some actual intellectual discourse.  It seemed to derail or die out fairly quickly last time it was attempted.  I say if we try it we try to take up positions and actually debate

If this turns into a Justin Bieber fan page i will track down the server and quite literally set it on fire.  No explanations to the owners, if they were aware they would understand.  The honest problem is that this place feels very clique-esque.  There really is nothing to draw new blood in.  The question is, even if we tried drawing new people in, how would they interact with us?  We need topics to get behind.  Major topics are pretty standard but we need to get deeper and have something of value.  Creative projects need to make a return.  The old Photoshop contests were fun at least but i haven't seen anything new here in a LONG time.

When it comes down to it, we need to enjoy it here ourselves in order to bring others in with us.  Its been sad because many members are either too busy or have been growing more conservative with their posting.  There needs to be a rebirth of randomness and humor.  I think we take ourselves a little too seriously.

Its my charming personality. HA!

I think your eyes are dusting over again Blue, the ladies love me.  Either that or they try to kill me in some way.  Its usually some combination of both.

My very presence both intrigues and infuriates them for some inexplicable reason.

So what if they were dead?  I say make them undead, then the internet will fear us.  Once again we can be the stuff of legends AND WE WILL...

*catches self*

Now look, we need something to revitalize this place besides encouraging posting.  I know im going to start posting poetry and theories on here and i will contribute random news articles.  Does anyone remember our attempt at Tribal Wars?  What if we find projects like that and start building teams for a couple online games?

I really want to go back up to Montana.  I've been waiting to get things a bit more stable but as soon as i can i'm just jumping in the car and going for awhile.  From what I've been told there are people up there who are getting older who really want to see me again before they go.  I'm trying to accommodate that wish and possibly get to know who my mom was a bit more.  Besides, I've seen the pictures of flathead lake and the cabin where we lived; the view is astounding.

Just remember BC, Hot girls have their quirks as well.  She's intelligent, fun to be around and completely,  wholeheartedly insane.  I believe this is why it's working out so well.  I mean come on, she hasn't pulled a blade on me yet and she only broke into my house that one time. Hahaha, true story.  The nutty ones are WAYYY more exciting to be around.  Interesting beliefs as well.

Anyway my answers are mundane.

1. 0

2. I can't remember the last time i ate ice cream

I was once a Karmic Houdini but now i walk a better line.  I've paid for my transgressions and laughed in the face of rationality.  As of yesterday every one of my criminal charges were dropped, I'm now a free man.  Karma also reminded me to watch my back today after the feast of debauchery that was the celebration of last night.  So BC, tell me of my sins here on the board.  Let us reminisce.

Also, That spam bot needs to get blasted ASAP.  It's fuckin with my Mojo.

Add: I broke my hand last night.  The odd part is since it was broken before it healed at an angle and was never that strong.  Last night was a full clean and teethgrindingly painful break that i put back into place.  Now my hand hurts but it's less injured than before.  Wierd.
