Unwashed Village / Wow! Close to New Year's and not one Christmas thread.

 ::)I was worried bout not getting to the village to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and there's nobody here. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas, a lot of you I have on my FB, but some of you I don't. Got to thinking about Darkfox and what great memories we had with him. Still miss the furry little rascal. Hope there's a village up there, so he can get into mischief. I haven't heard from Turjan in forever, is he still around? Jeez! you can barely recognize the place, it's clean, no empty beer bottles, cheez whiz or even Peeps! Who hell cleaned up? 


ok....I stand corrected. When I first logged on and started reading threads, there weren't any Christmas threads showing. Weird...and I haven't even been drinking...even more weird.

We need a new picture thread or "show yourself" thread as it was once called. So many of us have been here for many years now, and it's been a long time since we've had one of those threads. I would gladly post one now, but this is my first day back on my feet after a week with the flu and I look like Wednesday Addams with Rudolph's nose, so now is not a good time for me. C'mon guys, it'll be fun. How else are me and Jen supposed to make Board Pics *WEG*.  It's been a looooong time since I've made one of those up. If you don't, you have to spend at least one hour with BC in the Vestibule!

 :worried: :worried: I saw the news last night and there are horrible floods in Queensland, Australia. Last I knew, Ymir and Charlie live there. I pray they all check in soon. From what I saw on the news, it made Katrina look like water slide world.

How is it that I can view my facebook with ie but not with firefox? It's driving me nuts b/c ie is so damn slow! It lets me log in, but won't let me view anything, including the troubleshooting page. lol!

btw-How the hell is everyone doing? I've missed you guys!

 I finally have some time for my computer....I quit my job.

I seldom get to use my computer these days. I work 45 hrs. a week, and after taking care of dinner and everything else, I don't have the energy to argue with a teenager over the use of my computer.  It's pointless to argue with teens, b/c they know everything and I'm from the stone age. No, I didn't say stoned age. . I'm really sorry I missed so many b'days. Jen, NightOwl, Laughing Man, Mr. Weasel plus so many others. I just giggle at the fact that the villagers that were once considered young are reaching old fart status.  It's amazing, the one thing I lived on, has become like a once in awhile thing. Life intervenes:(
Has He@dbyte or Lerk popped in at all? I haven't seen them on the board in many years now. Just out of curiousity, how long have we been around now? This is still the one place I always come to b/c I've known most of you for a very long time. My boss is coming around to the fact that I need a computer at work, so I might be able to pop in a bit more. It's hard looking up info with just a telephone.

I never thought that I'd get into watching a show about Vampires, but this one is really good. It's not at all like Dark Shadows. More like a redneck version of The Lost Boys. The boys got into watching it too, but they get mad when I mess with them and stand in front of the TV when they show a sex scene. lol! Like they haven't seen that stuff before. Mathew calls it Porn with teeth. lol! My daughter hates it b/c there is too much sex and nudity. Yet if they showed Nelly or Chris Brown bare assed naked, she would be glued to the TV.
