As some of you might have known (or noticed when using google today), the 2010 Winter Olympics games officially began today.

As the survivor of craziest media fest/party Beijing has ever seen in 2008, I am not sure anything can top that craziness. It's always interesting to stay in a Olympics hosting city though, since there always seem to be some kind of giddiness/excitement in the air.

I still can't believe 2 of the cities I call home is hosting 2 Olympics back to back!

Any medal predictions? Or Winter sports fans? Very Happy

And before I forget, tomorrow is Lunar New Year's Eve!

Hello, people, how's it going?

I am doing fairly well, but my parents has hit a bit of a rough patch. 35-40 years of marriage..., if they are going to separate now, sigh.., who knows. There is a rumor of a gf..., but again who knows. Mid life crisis and all that jazz. Looks like I'll be even more busy from now on, and getting really friendly with my lawyer.

Happy Birthday to all the people I missed celebrating with!

Watch out for ID theft. One of my other computer is still in limbo after a password virus. And that huge bug uncovered in July isn't helping things much.

As for things here..., well, I stuck to my Solar New Year resolution and has worked out for 1-2 hours for 20 days (with 4 days rest) now. I have lost 9 lbs so far, and my goal is 170 lbs, give or take a few. I am stepping up my weight/strength training next week, and we'll see how it goes. As for the diet, it's mysterious, but as long as I eat any kind of breakfast, the rest really doesn't matter. Momentum is also an mysterious thing, as long as I get started/going, I usually go full tilt untill I have to stop, and no rationalizations or procrastinations can paralyze me.

Dress red, eat some fish and dumplings, asks your elders for some red packets money, fire up some fire crackers and go party/have a good time!

Many Chinatowns will have fireworks, go join the fun!

Clean your house before the Eve, but don't throw anything out after that! Make sure you don't handle sharp objects or break stuff/plates after the Eve!
