If time were to keep winding down we would simply slow down to match it. We would never perceive it, except in the way they discovered in the first place, by staring off into irrelevant corners of space. How would this affect anything?

I'm back home on leave until the third. Graduated on the 12th. I Am Legend and No Country For Old Men were good.

It's actually kind of pissing me off, because I'm on 10 hour pass and everything on base is closed for the holiday.

Oh, the irony.

Yeah, 11B. I finish OSUT on Dec. 12, then I've got some downtime before I've got to come back to Benning for Airborne.

I can't think of a single reason that civilians should be allowed to own a gun (other than hunting and sports) if the police do their jobs right.
That's ridiculous. Police don't exist to be an ever-present, all-powerful force of good, smacking down criminals with a golden hammer in mid trigger pull. No matter how good a police force is, they can't be everywhere at once. Not unless you want to pull some Orwellian shit with cameras in the TVs.

When the bad guy is reaching for his weapon, you're going to be reaching for your cell phone. You'll be full of holes when the police get there 5-10 minutes later, which is an optimistic response time even for a competent police force.

And yeah, England is pretty ass-backwards.

Leave for training tomorrow. May or may not be able to post some this December. If not, happy holidays.

Take care everyone.

Other. But of that list, Scrubs.

To Catch A Predator is great.

Predator: YOU HAVE CONDOM?
Decoy: no...
Predator: I MUST GO SHOPPING

I wonder if it's cliche to recommend Ender's Game yet.

Reading Xenocide now.

I recommend Ender's Game.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld series is hilarious.

Ugh. 'cause Facebook is so much better. Every time I log on I have to ignore application invitations for the pirate, zombie, vampire, ninja, pirates vs. ninjas, honesty box, graffiti, movie compatibility test, funwall, superwall, super mega ultra fun wall, and fight club applications. Have I even begun to dent the list? And everytime I want to write on somebody's effing wall, I have to scroll past all that shit. Then there's the groups. The groups for people who like stepping on crunchy leaves. The groups for people who remember the 90's because they remember sock 'em bopper commercials. The group for people who wish their homework were asexual so it would do itself. (facepalm)

Personally, I would rather deal with having to listen to music. I like the customization.

I usually don't even bother reading mail from blank profiles. 99 out of 98 times it's spam.
