I'm increasingly more worried what that decision might mean for Ireland. Sinn Fein is making it clear in no uncertain terms that they seek to capitalize and reunite with their northern brethren, and let's not forget, there is still a massive sectarian divide hanging overhead. Could mean The Troubles all over again, this time involving Scotland and Wales as well. The votes have hardly been uniform.

Bad time for the UK. Bad time for Europe, in fact. This will have bigger implications.

So, I felt like looking up UV again, guess it has been +- 2 years since the last time. Doesn't seem to be a lot happening around here, but hey, it's still up. That's something.

Ah, feeling a bit sappy. Fuck me, man. First i joined and posted, on the black-and-green forums with the roll-down threads, and talked with people like Paladin and BlueCross and all the others, must have been late 98 or early 99. No idea how people even understood me back then, I barely knew English. So long ago I cannot even clearly remember much in detail. Blurs. But nice blurs.

Cool people, awesome convos, fun times. Well, to be honest, I never was much of a member of the community. I posted some shitty Photoshop pics, wrote some BS from time to time. Not a regular, but I was around. Good memories.

I don't even know why I'm writing all this. Nostalgia, I guess (yes, I am a little drunk). To anyone reading and that even remembers me, I'm glad you were a part of my life, however small. UV was the first real internet community I was a part of, and I will be forever proud of that. Cheers to you, guys and gals, hope you're all doing good.

Jesus, I can't believe this board is still up.  Was surfing the 'net and something randomly triggered a memory connected to the UV today, thought I'd check and see. Whoa.

Good to see the good ol' Village of the Unwashed is still alive and kic- well *looks around* okay, maybe not kicking, per se... *takes a second look* and perhaps not quite as alive, either... but, still here! Hope y'all are having a good one.

Hehe, Pyro was already one of my favorite classes but it's quickly coming to a point where I'll surpass my time in game with a Soldier (my top class) playing one. After the buff they just got, Pyros are just nasty. There's something satisfying about setting a group of enemy on fire even if you don't get a kill out of it. You still get to hear them yelling, "Fire, fire, fire!" after you die. 

People like me developed a deep sense of hatred towards pyros and medics. And by people i mean sniper geeks. :p Seriously, there's nothing more annoying for a sniper then being set on fire, which not only hurts, but obstructs vision. I can almost hear the pyro's laughter when he smacks his rocket into my face each time i try to blow his head off.  :inquisitive:

Anyway, TF2 = hot lesbian sex.
