Hey. We're still around as well, though most of the posts are happening on the Discord server set up by The Hanged Man.

It's a mix over there of old-school UV, newer UV, and some members of No Mutants Allowed and The Order.

Night Owl recently registered, as did JC (the guy who ran Vault 13 when we were hosted there).

Discord might be a good idea. It certainly is both more streamlined and feature-rich than a message board.

For those who haven't heard, Mike Garoni, AKA Varag, died of cancer late September.

The Village has gotten a bit darker.

/sprinkles some more necromancy on here.

The only real way to see a more lively community would most like to either make a Discord or a Guilded server. Lot easier to post/communicate but that'd be if people still wanted to on a day by day basis.

Just my 2 cents, nothing against web forums as I do kinda miss the old days of the internet!

I've been thinking something similar. Web forums are kind of a dead thing.

Even the Straight Dope message boards went to Discord. Though, they customized it to be very message-board style rather than MS-Teams or Slack style as most Discord communities seem to be.

Discord can work fine as forum software if the features are set up correctly.

The Straight Dope message boards use Discord and have been for many months now.

However, it's rather difficult to distinguish between the bots that auto register here and the non-bots.
