What did you get from work?

I got... nothing.

I might get a bonus. I'll have to see when I get back from Texas on the 27th.

Many moons ago, the owner gave me 4 fairly nice table maps and a dehumidifier. Well... I don't have a table and the dehumidifer (or whatever it was) had chemicals and I didn't want Puppy to chew on it so I just left them in the drawer at work 'for now...'. 9 months later she saw them there and got mad.

Since then... I've gotten nothing.

What did you get?

Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

A set of three Rosendal (danish desinger stuff) spice-jars with an interchangable gridner. I later got more for X-mas to make a total of 9. Last year I got 4 Rosendal  glass bowls and a oil-bottle. This year it's rumoured to be 4 flat glass plates and4 smaller dishes (for cakes and stuff). Hope it is, I love the design, also asking for other things from the series for when I move into a place with my own kitchen.

One of my co-workers got yelled at severely and started her period early due to stress. =|

Then she did something that accidentally kinda got me in trouble. She felt more bad about it then I did.

Me: "Don't worry about it. I get reprimanded for about 3 things a day. this just bumped one thing forward. Don't worry about it. I'm totally ok.!"

I'm not here that much longer anyway and I'm going on vacation. What are they going to do? Fire me?

That would actually be 'better'.  Then you can file for unemployment immediately instead of waiting for however long the waiting period is.

Not for me. I can make more money working. I already have 3 people that want to see me for an interview.

I think it's 2 weeks for a firing and 6 weeks for a voluntary quit.

I don't like being on unemployment. I don't have disdain toward the people who are legitimately on unemployment but I *know* I can find something so I feel icky.

Besides, I need the extra money for necessities like this:

I didn't feel really great about collecting unemployment but my wife convinced me I was wrong.

I had to be convinced last time. I think I lost about 500.00 by not going on it right away.

I get my bonus tomorrow. My wife (the bookkeeper) made it a tradition to get me a Christmas bonus from the company. Last year I got a $250 Best Buy gift card, and the Calvin and Hobbes anthology thingee. Was awesome.

I haven't gotten anything yet, but last year, I got a couple of bottles of wine, some chocolate etc. I haven't gotten anything from my new job either.

I never get a Christmas bonus and this will be my 9th Christmas with them. My company doesn't do that.
