Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The link has all her pertinent information.

My thoughts are that she's very young (only around 7 years older than me), pro-life, apparently does not have ties to big oil, and apparently there is a lack of things to attack her over (other than normal social con stances).  Meaning that she's basically an anti-McCain Republican. If indeed it's her then it's a good pick for him IMO. I think the worst thing he could have done was add another old white dude to the ticket no matter what that person's political stances were.
