Re reading, I think I did misunderstand you. It was the "I'm sure as fuck not gonna respond to a demand for a response though." bit that threw me. Anyway, I did need to reconsider my attitude to this board. The questions I was referring to were the questions in the letter their insurers sent me, not questions here: I should have made that clear. They asked fourteen questions, which were upsetting me because they were (a) asking things that they'd know if they'd actually read the paperwork, or (b) asking for stuff that is in the other paperwork that they'll get in due course, or (c) quite frankly rude and upsetting questions to try and put me off. The specific sentence at the end of my post was intended as a "full ahead both and damn the torpedoes". My solicitor sent me the letter from them just before she went away for three weeks, and her answers to ten of the fourteen questions amount to "I'll ask Xerxes and let you know". Anyway, either way, mea culpa, and we've both explained what we mean.
*offers hand*
The three month bit is that the other side have finally got their fingers out and got their insurers involved. They've asked for three months to investigate from their side, which is fair enough. So, by October it'll either be settled (which my lawyer and barrister both think is what is going to happen), or it won't, and it'll be listed for court.
Oh and while we're on the subject of bears, please find enclosed a photo of Poley. He lives by my bed so is there whenever I want a cuddle.
Xerxes.
