I suspect they underestimated the number of people they'd have signing up as soon as they opened it up for this year.  It's a pretty big organization though, I bet they'll have some new servers up soon.

If I ever get married again, I am TOTALLY marrying for the right reasons this time....how cool the name would look on the front of a book. =D

you can always go with your maiden name. or a combinatin thereof. i know i'll probably use my maiden name on things, if i dont decide to go for questionable works and have to use something completely different.

Isn't that how you get your porn name or drag queen name?

OH... nevermind. Found it.

Mmmmm Drag Queen names seem more complicated. Doesn't seem to be a universal rule. I thought the porn name rule was the drag queen name.

Now, see, this is the kind of response I was looking for.  Yes, do it!  It'll be awesome!  It's great motivation to write, an achievable goal, a social experience, and an excuse to write really really poorly and still feel great about it!  It's frikkin' sweet!

Plus, and frankly this is 4/5 of my motivation, if you do it and finish then you can call yourself a novelist for the rest of your life!  HOW PHAT IS THAT

That is quite tempting. Mebbe when I go back to Uni I'll consider it :P
