That is really a quite wonderful recommendation, KG.  Well done!

Also! You can get financial aid to go if you are enrolled in classes that your university accepts credit for. You can even get federal/state aid, not to mention all the scholarships that exist. I know this because I work in the financial aid office at IU. So it is absolutely worth it, because you don't lose any out of pocket money (except possibly the cost of a plane ticket). You will even be able to get loans! The exchange rate would be your only financial concern.

You would probably have to get a special visa to stay abroad for longer than 6 months, so I'd say just go for a semester. You'll get homesick. And if you go to Europe, I bet you'll have serious cravings for a greasy American pizza and an ice cold Budweiser. The hoops you would have to jump through to stay for a whole year just wouldn't be worth it. I doubt the program you looked at has enough course offerings that would transfer back to your school in the States.

and awww snap, i love gold stars.
love, fish

How will people see it if she decides to wear it?  :anxious:

You know who else used to make people wear gold stars?

Hmm. Jewelry in the shape of a gold star. So people can pierce whatever and feel good about it.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

No matter where I go, I will never, ever, ever have a serious craving for a Budweiser.

(Yeah, I know there's a brewery in the Czech Republic that goes by Budweiser, and they still don't like that AB took the name, but I'm not referring to them.)
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Third person ehre to agree that watered-down,s emi-fermented donkey-piss just isn't appealing to his taste-buds.

And AC, you know my feelings on the subject; everyone should be forced to study abroad before they grow up, best experience a person can have to both broaden horizons and mature a bit :)

Careful, fishy. You don't want to go up against a Sicilian when death is on the line.
