Myspace

Hello everyone,

I decided to start a myspace page, so if you have one of your own, please feel free
to send me a line or add me to your list.  Please don't be upset if I don't add you right
away, as I may not recognise who's writing to me!  (I'm old, and tend to forget things).

It's a bit primative right now, as I haven't gone into the full workings yet.

http://www.myspace.com/kama_silverleaf

Hopefully that gets you to my site. Enjoy!

I don't know if I'll get a myspace account. The thought of spending hours posting links, pictures, videos and updating people about my life just doesn't do it for me.

I might do it just so I'll have Brug and Kama as friends. It'll be like Lord of the Rings online with me as the humans.
Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

I don't have a myspace account.  :inquisitive:

I have one, but it exists for no other purpose than to stay in touch with a couple of friends I have that are worse than useless at e-mails.

It's a blank profile with nothing on it and utterly unworthy of anyone's attention. :)

I usually don't even bother reading mail from blank profiles. 99 out of 98 times it's spam.

I seriously read that as 'fiend' when I first glanced at it.

I don't read myspace pages anymore because I hate any webpage that plays music without asking me first. And it seems like everybody on myspace has this crying need to let everyone else know exactly what their favorite (obscure) music is.

Thank. You.

That and the autoplaying videos and the animated gif backgrounds. In some of my marketing I find it somewhat necessary to visit myspace pages.

After one day... actually two hours I installed a Webmonkey script that defaults the background back to the regular white and blue look and disabled autoplaying music. I also have a filter in my Adblock about myspace music.

STILL... even with that... it's annoying because some people have to leave 1512 pixel wide photos. So I have to scroll back and forth sideways to read.

THEN...

You have the Cam______'s, bands, xxx sites asking to be your 'friend' so they can post their advertisements.
