ATF disrupts skinhead plot to assassinate Obama (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081027/ap_on_el_pr/skinhead_plot)

Good but umm...why'd you put this in debate? :inquisitive:

Given how far McCain has taken his campaign.. this does have a risk of turning political.. :dead:

To my knowledge neither McCain or Palin has suggested that Obama is either a muslim or a terrorist but they keep getting credited with these claims. Palin has said he pals around with terrorists which he has with Ayers so frankly I don't see a problem with that claim. Unless of course Obama ever comes out with a reasonable explanation of why he went to this guy's house for a party being hosted for him or why he has a comment in the back of his book etc and so on.

Ah... so now we see why it is in the debate forum.

But all of that argument could have taken place (and I'm pretty sure it has) in another thread. Who is going to debate on the original article? Show of hands, does anyone here agree with these nutjobs or think they should be set free? Yeah, that's what I thought. :P

There were zero debatable statements in this thread until you punched in with 'muslim', 'terrorist', 'palling around', 'reasonable explanation', etc.
You just can't help yourself, can you? You gotta slam those left-wing terrorist lovling liberals whenever you get a chance, and you certainly don't need a reason to start up another diatribe.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives
I have always found that an interesting grouping.

I thought the subject was fairly volatile. Honestly, the first thing I thought about was the "KILL HIM" at the rallys and the lackluster response (at least initially) toward the people shouting those things.
Figured it would be only a while before it went to that area... so... uh... OMG! It's me!
Perhaps I should have listened to CyberNietzsche007

Hey... we take care of Alcohol and Tobacco. Why don't we take care of Explosives too?
In 2030

Maybe if the MSM would have done it for me it wouldn't still be an issue but they were too busy looking up the blogs of McCain's daughter's friends to pay any attention to names like Ayers or Rezko. The one time I actually saw any MSM look into any of it was CNN on Ayers and their report made Obama's relationship with Ayers seem to be more than what Obama has been saying.
You don't see me defending McCain do you? I've defended Palin only over the way the media has treated her over her faith which I think is totally unfair. Other than that I've expressed concern with both her and McCain in other areas. I've even repeatedly said that Obama's "lack of experience" isn't an issue for me and I consider it point in his (and Palin's) favor.
I guess if I'm not 100% behind The Chosen One I'm too darned critical of em, eh? Sorry but the guy doesn't walk on water.

Are you even aware of what you're raving against? Irony, I feel thy deadly sting.

It has an even more interesting history.
