My studies, having been delayed again, should be done with by the end of the coming year, unless I follow through on my half arsed idea of doing an extra year to hone my web skillZ.
My sister got married and is currently off honeymooning, to be back shortly before xmas. The bachelor party was over 12 hours of solid drinking, some betting on the ponies, and the obligatory slutshow. The wedding itself was beautiful, held in the gardens of an estate house turned local history museum with the reception at a nice restaurant they booked out. I would describe my sister in all her bridely glory but, other than making note of her huge (2-3 meter) train, words do no justice. Oh, I also have a sexy new suit obtained for the occasion. I look hot in it. Yes.
The share house I was living in all went to the dogs after one of my housemates turned out to be... unready for life, shall we say. This put stress on the other housemate and myself, which set us at eachothers throats. Thankfully, I wasnt listed on the bond, so I managaed to recover most of the money they both owed me by simply not paying rent until they arranged to pay me back. Well, that arrangement was never made, but the non payment left them in the poopshack (especially as their bond was paid by the housing trust who they'll now have to pay back), and left me only about 200 bucks behind. I do feel somewhat guilty about my part in the ugliness, and would feel moreso if it werent for the fact that despite my getting less money in than either of them, I was still the one left holding the bag when it came to paying bills and buying food. I still dont understand the mentality that says its ok to spend over 500 bucks on an interstate trip to see a concert when you already owe money to several different people. /bitter
