It's a cat thing.

We arent sure on exact breeds of our three but animal planet kinda gave me an idea.

That orange boy is most likely an Abyssian, he was a stray we got from animal welfare. His never ending appetite is partially the stray mentality, he doesnt eat ear plugs.
Our part British shorthair has a thing for nomming earbuds, broken a few pairs

Persons?  Persons can be super awesome cool brilliant tits great.  However, people are pretty god damn horrible.  Our species has a horrifying predilection to mob violence.  The collective species?  I'm not sure how to express it in text, but picture me shaking me head back and forth as fast as I can making a horrified sound.
