Time for a change, methinks
« on: February 22, 2008, 03:26:38 AM »
I can't think of a good name to switch to yet. A few ideas, none of them good.
But the picture has changed. And its cute.

Beware the kitty! For he plots your very downfall :P

Anyway, has anyone managed to avoid changes to their life? Discuss :)

I will avoid changing the topic of this thread.

See! I'm still on topic.
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

We fear change

"When planning a new picture we don't think of grown ups and we don't think of children but just of that fine, clean, unspoiled spot down deep in every one of us that maybe the world has made us forget and that maybe our pictures can help recall." - Walt Disney

The harder I try to change the more I stay the same.
Conversely the harder I try to stay the same the more I change.

For now I'm just winging it.

I will avoid changing the topic of this thread.

See! I'm still on topic.

but is it even possible to derail a thread that is ABOUT change?
so any attempt to change topic would in fact be on topic...

Yeah, but the topic is about avoiding change, not embracing it. Changing the topic would be meta-off-topic.

As long as you keep broccoli out of the discussion, everything's fly with me.

I'm still confused.
I'll get there eventually.

Also: A Con check of +0 is pretty average. You might want to consider a -3 :P

Yeah for your hoity toity caster types.
If you don't have at least 12 con you're not drinking with the dwarves. Or orcs, for that matter.
