I used to be known by what Id term as a rather juvenile "Darkness Flame" (I was younger, and rather silly
)
My current name here is just a latin word Id used for a character that Id made when playing in an Iron Kingdoms campaign setting back when D&D 3.5 was still going as a current product:
Desolo : to leave desolate, abandoned, to forsake.
Ironically I didnt fully understand what the word meant when I named the character that, but in the end it actually ended up working rather well....
He was of all things a Druid Sniper....He was Also Neutral Good in a party full of Chaotic Neutrals, Chaotic Evils and Neutral Evils. Druids were not nice people in the setting either....
In essence He took everything he was supposed to be, what he was expected to be, and chose to leave it all behind.
The rest of the party eventually realized he was not to be fucked with, Mainly because one doesnt want to piss off the man with ability to incinerate an opposing ship with a wave of his hand, and what was basically an anti-tank rifle that he could realiably hit with at more then a mile, using a pool of water as a scrying focus as a spotter.
He was a crazy, crazy bastard. (in the Iron Kingdoms setting one could do some strange things, and I do miss it...)
As for my Avatar? Its a piece of art from one of my more recent favorite games (of the last decade, lol) , STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. The picture makes me think of a quintessential wastland wanderer. Which I identify with in my own way....Its still just a
Tad juvenile
I wasnt here in the time when they came up with backstory, So I dont really have any good story stuff to add in that regard
