Interestingly enough, I did have some 'issues' about posting that pic.  But taken in context, it's not as bad as you one might conclude from just looking at the conditions.

Apparently some houses were illegally built in Kathmandu (Nepal) .  The police demolished the houses, and the people kicked out were just returning to scavenge any belongings.

So they weren't really living in squalor or exceptionally inhumane conditions (as the pic implies).   They were just in 'recovery mode'.

Of course, the issue of having their homes destroyed and why is a completely different moral and legal issue (of which I have no other facts to offer).
