That was an incredibly boring post.

*pause for effect*

Sorry, I just had to say that.

I also have to say that I can never remember thinking that any of your posts are boring.  In fact, there a few Villagers whose posts I always try to read, yours among them.  Interestingly enough, the few people who post now are all in that group.

Your comment makes me wonder if test pilots think their job is boring, possibly because it is so routine for them.  Well, OK, maybe posting in the Unwashed Village and test flying a jet that's never flown before might not be on the same level, but still...

Okay, I didn't explain myself very well a few nights ago.  What I was trying to say was not that there is anything wrong with being honest, but I feel like back in the Day, there was perhaps more of a cutting edge, more of a willingness to make inconsequential jokes at other people's expense, more of a willingness to get cracked in a non-formulaic way.  Basically I feel like the board got PC!  I liked it better when I could be like "HEY YOU SUCK, AND TO PROVE IT, HERE'S A QUOTE BY BLAKE"
I fall and I leap and
I'm freaking out
Nowhere near my place and I
Know that they've seen me now

Wait, you mean you've stopped doing that?  There's our problem.  Thanny, I demand more obscure references (by obscure I mean "anything I've not heard of that looks like it's probably something that's if not classical is at least classy") and in-fun insultery!  Especially from you - you do it so damn well.

Also, sorry about my slightly self-indulgent misery-post.  Dark night, remembered stuff, forgotten it all now so all is again right with the world.
Still, Thanks Blue, was nice to get someone else's view on what I wrote.  Yeah, it's quite possible that test pilots, stunt men and the like get into a rut where everything seems the same.  Hell, even Bear Grylls probably wakes up some mornings and says "Yep, I'm awake, time to drink my own piss."

"HEY YOU SUCK, AND TO PROVE IT, HERE'S A QUOTE BY BLAKE"

"Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed."

I'm thinking that Blake may not suck.

Hello, this is my first post here hello!

I said hello twice, damn I messed up already.

Anyway, I don't think anyone here knows me, and I don't know anyone here, the reason I signed up?

I am a gamer, not old, but experienced, I've noticed, in my opinion, that games overall nowadays are quite lacking. I've decided to take initiative and work on a fallout/SPECIAL based DnD like game, with tons of new features (spell like stuff, different races, etc). While doing some research on Armor DT/DR I noticed about this site (from your cameo in Fallout 2).

Fallout, new and old, still has many lovers, I was previously on a forum that is dying out (like a month I suspect). While I have no great love of this one yet, I would like to help out.

I have not read the entire thread, not something I often do (I am strapped for time right now), but I would suggest, if you want your former glory, just find a way to advertise the site. If I had known about this place, I would have been on board a long time ago. I'm sure that Fallout will be a well known game someday again, this could be the site for all fallout games, regardless of creator.

Anyway, I dunno any of you now, but thanks for taking time to read this.

That's very close but not quite right.

Someone's got to after all.
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
