I joined in the summer of 2001. Is this in reference to something that happened before that because I don't get it.
Had I had more time to mess around, I would have actually created a sock puppet account of her for a day. (Alerting my fellow mods of course.) Wouldn't that have been scary?
And DG was around after 2001. But I think you were on a hiatus at the time. She was a virus that had infected the AOF, the Asshelmets, us, The Order, and a bunch of non-related sites as well. I don't know what she's up to these days, but I'm just glad she's not up to it here. She has the distinction of being one of the few people banned at the AOF and Asshelmets, and is the only person I've ever banned in the UV. (Spambots aren't people, so they don't count.)
But speaking of Spambots, since you're not familiar with her, Gypsy was essentially what a spambot would be if it wasn't trying to sell you anything and had artificial intelligence. When she first arrived at the AOF back in the day, most of us thought she was a sock puppet of another poster. But no one claimed her. It was soon pretty much verified that she was an actual individual. A 50+ year-old chain smoking housewife/grandmother who had nothing better to do all day but flirt with teenage boys in the interwebs and post the most inane crap ever.
She's not actually banned on this current board because we never added her when we last moved. But if she does show up, she will be Kill On Sight.
