The place is friggin awesome. Instead of typing it all, I'll just cut and paste from the BF's e-mail. (Loveshack? I assume you got a e-mail from him?)

Yep, he wrote me back, I just haven't read my e-mail thoroughly.  I'm bad about that.  Let me give it a gander and I'll get back to you.  I reckon I owe him my thanks too.

Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

I apparently have a little escape artist in my apartment! A few mornings ago I opened the door to the cat room where I keep them locked up at night and sat down at the computer. After a little bit I saw George run by me when she is supposed to be locked up in her cage. I thought it was me forgetting to close her upper cage door at the time. It would be easy to do since I feed and water them at the same time and my mind works like a steel sieve these days.

Today I got home from getting my allergy shots and she was running around free again! I know for a fact that I closed her cage doors last night because I've been especially careful since the first incident. So now I'm going to have to tie the cage doors so she can't get out...the little bugger.  ;D

Reminder - I'm sure someone new will ask or someone old will have forgotten but I keep her in the cage because she has a bad thyroid problem and tends to pee on or scratch up every piece of furniture that she can get her little paws on. She can be let out with supervision but only with supervision.

Bonus pic of the culprit now included

In Kuwait.... Tired, already started training.... and its cold here. You'd think an arid wasteland would be scorching, but no, nipply weather and cold mornings. But it isn't too bad. We got some downtime today, and using it :D Not sure when I'll be in Baghdad playing tag with Insurgents but when I am settled in, I will let you know. Thanks for the kind thoughts, the support and the prayers.... I will need every one of them.

take care!

We discovered that despite not having a big house full of furniture... our surroundings aren't exactly Spartan.

I brought boxes from work and they're being filled right away and there's STILL more things to move. This is madness.

There's so many 'little things' that it's a puzzle to figure out where to go next. This place was/is full of knick naks. Vases, Glass Penquins, Doctor Doom Statues, China plates, frames, more vases, Candles, etc.

It's going to be interesting when I get back. Within this month I will be letting my boss know about my move, flying out to Texas for 8 days, coming back and working my last few days, moving all of our stuff, driving to Vegas and then unpack everything and then start either our self employment or a traditional job for a few months.

Pant pant.

I took my last exam for my Masters Degree today. I will graduate in a week and a half.

You may all send me graduation gifts now.  ;D
All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Damn, an UVer getting a master degree, there is just something not right about it.   ;D

I kid.  Congrats, I know how much work that is.  Considering I am surrounded by degrees working here.

How about something completely random from my collection?

My electric razor I've had for well over a hundred years just broke a couple of days ago. It was just the trimmer part but since that's the part I use the most now I have to go buy a new one.

It was a good lad. *sniffle*
