You get a badge?
This job gets better and better.

I have run out of places to climb. I will abandon this body and take to the air. We will leave twin vapor trails in the air, white lines etched into these rocks. I am the aerial. In my passing, I will send news to each and every star.

I even had a badge when I worked for PC world, of course that said 'Inigo Montoya'.

I never did find out if my boss was a Princess Bride fan.

Since your boss obviously never said "Inconceivable!", we can safely assume he has not seen it.

Periodic check-in as the bungee-cord snaps back.

Traded Canada for the (mostly) sunny San-Francisco Bay Area, working towards a PhD in an overly-specific junction of engineering and the physical sciences.

I'm happy, hope you're happy too.

Dammit, I've checked every day and I didn't notice that anyone had posted. (Doy)
Good to hear from you both, (even though I haven't been around long enough to know either of you all that well.)

It's good to see that everyone is doing so well, sadly with all these people getting PHDs and forming naked volley ball teams, I'll have to get extra creative with my lies to sound more impressive.  ;)

As of last friday, I've been working (albeit part time) for a full year consecutivley. Its a weird feeling, especially since I've had trouble keeping jobs in the past. Someone needs to revoke my Night Owl Membership Card!  ;D

A few weeks ago I bought my first car; A 1988 Volvo 240DL. Yes, its ugly old and slow, but its incredibly safe apparently. Its also my first manual, and driving manual kicks ass; I feel like a race car driver.

Also trying to figure out a place to take a vacation this summer, since I havent taken one in several years. Any recommendations?

Hope things are going good guys. Hang in there villagers.

You can find out more at the "Black Isle" web page:  http://www.blackisle.com/

Personally, I wouldn't bother donating. They are asking for money and not promising anything in return except for access to a forum where you can talk to them. There's a reason they're not using Kickstarter. Kickstarter requires a tangible product to be given for funding levels (though, apparently KS is looking into allowing services eventually). Not to mention their last update was January.

If you want to support former Black Isle members, support Obsidian on KS. The Project Eternity game (which I'm a backer of) looks to be a really nice Baldur's Gate-ish RPG. Also, Brother None/Kharn, and long ago UV member who also was a regular at AOF and The Order over the years, as well as being an Admin at No Mutants Allowed is involved with it somehow. (As well as the inXile studios production of Wasteland 2, also funded through KS. inXile and the now Obisidian go way back to the days when Interplay was just a small startup. Brian Fargo was one of the original Interplay guys, and he's the founder of inXile. Obsidian was founded by remnants of Black Isle. Both companies have been supporting the other one's efforts.)

All right, I’ve been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man whose gonna burn your house down – with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

Well this is the first post and I'm glad to say that I was told about this wonderful place called the Unwashed Village and couldn't resist when I heard. But you asked what was going on in my life so here it is. I'm joining the navy and going to meps most likely on Wednesday.

D'aww... wish I was in the navy, getting to spend all of my time with big strong me- I mean kicking ass, for the good of the nation!

Hmm... what can I add? To be honest, I don't even know what this "life" thing is.
Well I've decided to join my local gym, I don't even know why, I'm skinny and don't need to lose weight and I'm not a health nut. I guess I just want something to do, going to try and sign up within the next two weeks.

To pass the time I've been making mods for Left 4 Dead, I've added a UV easter egg to one of them, so I hope to increase traffic here. :)
