At what point does one cross from the stereotype of "my wife cant cook" to the mythical "no one makes it like mama"?

My judgeing method has allways been 75% of what she make is not toxic.

Somewhere around the fifth poisoning I reckon.  My mother is a pretty dreadful cook but her tablet (Scottish toffee type thing) is the best I've had so I suppose you also need to account for baking, cooking and sticking hot sugar in a pan.
