Here is John Adder, my Fallout 2 character. Part time Enclave Recruit, Part Time Mob Enforcer, Part Time Porn Star, Part Time Brotherhood of Steel snitch, Part Time Shi killer and Thief.
He dreams of joining the Enclave, but will have to settle with stealing their armor and killing them.

(He's also outrageously rich.)
I would play the same character through all the games like I do with Elder Scrolls, but I just stuck with remaking characters like James Bond and Max Rockatansky in FO4.

Unwashed Village / Re: What are your thoughts after finishing Fallout 4?

To be honest, the repetitive quests are a dream come true for me as I felt that Fallout 3 sorely lacked anything like it. As for the ending of 4, my biggest complaint is the ending slideshow thing... To me, it just doesn't make any sense, what the character says, like the 'war never changes' line is so forced in, that you can see the scratches on it, from where someone was a little too rough with the crowbar.

Barring that... I thought that the rest of it was effective, I've done minutemen and Institute and both turned out okay.

I liked what they did with the Brotherhood at least

I made a post kind of answering this earlier so I'll make the small points I made of things I didn't like about it

1. Repetitive quests are good, but it feels weird to have a large parts of the quests being "Go here and kill everything"
2. No weapon degradation results in weapons being random generated "loot" like from Borderlands
3. Speech options are sometimes an illusion of choice
4. Special skills are changeable so you can literally become a god with tens across the board through grinding
5. No Ron Perlman minus a few seconds at the beginning (Not even the Narrator)

So... yeah I probably missed a few and some people might disagree but that's fine.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm playing Borderlands when I'm playing Fallout 4.

Mostly in regards to A LOT of the quests being simple "go here and kill everything", no weapon degradation so you don't need to maintain your weapons (Even though it wasn't in the original Fallout games, I still liked it in FO3 and NV), I enjoyed the vocal character but the speech options are laughable and are an illusion of choice sometimes, you don't need to worry about your character too much at the beginning of the game because you can change ALL of your special skills.

Also no Ron Perlman.

Now there's this whole thing about people wanting Obsidian to make another Fallout

I would be terrified getting the winning ticket and having my name and face publicly plastered everywhere.

I'd rather just keep my winnings under wraps and use it for the amount of good I can do with $200 Million.
After of course I buy all the stuff I need for reenacting lol

I had a criminally warm winter  :(

I bitch a lot about snow, but now I miss it.

Come to the Midwest of the U.S. We're having freezing rain mixed with snow right now in Chicago, and other parts of the Midwest are probably having similarly shitty weather.

Lol I am Midwest, but it was a Warm Christmas and this current storm will probably melt within a few days of it ending. Just like the one we had I think a few weeks ago.

I originally planned on revving out the character customization system and make a young Mel Gibson and name him Max. BUT I decided to go Female for a first.

I have yet to actually play the game yet BUT I do plan on it.
