Cute Kitten

Also congrats on your advancement in Aikido and good luck on your Nursing job, hope it goes well!

Got myself a third cat - a Maine Coon kitten - a couple of months ago. It just got 5 months old and weights now 7.2 kg (15.9 lbs).

Finally became shodan in aikido (black belt, 1. dan) last Sunday.

I'm also graduating as a practical nurse this December specializing in working with handicapped people. I used to work earlier as a software developer for almost 19 years. My future salary will be only half of the salary I had in my IT years, but I'm happy that I decided to quit my earlier job a couple of years ago. I've come to conclusion that I value my mental health more than money and also working with the handicapped people feels very rewarding in itself.

The attached photo is from my current work practice place - a school for handicapped children - where I brought the kitten for the children to see one day.

Unwashed Village / Re: What are your thoughts after finishing Fallout 4?

Well put KMD. I couldn't have said it better myself.
What did you all think about how they did Power Armor in this game?

I felt it was a good change than the "Outfit" you equipped in Fallout 3 and NV (But that was fine at the time). But I feel the Power Armor is more imposing and "tank like" in Fallout 4 in feeling (Too bad the armor is actually made of Paper mache and breaks outrageously easy)

They should have made the armor harder to obtain (Bring back Power Armor training) and make the moment you obtain it later in the game. But sticking to this game being more combat oriented, of course it would pander to those who enjoy that stuff by giving them Power Armor early.

I feel like I'm on the fence of this all.

All hail!  Blessed be those who bask in his glowing warmth!

I wouldn't get too close if I were you.  You realize why he is glowing....
Is that why I ALWAYS have the after taste of burnt potato sacks? Huh

I found this website through Fallout 2, I hope that this community becomes more active.

Don't we all dream of an Independent Wales?

Raider 1: That's the thing! Turns out they weren't grenades at all! They were just rocks! He was making the sounds with his mouth. Pins being pulled, the whole nine yards!

Raider 2: That's fuckin nuts! Did you guys take him out?

Raider 1: No we just stood there. Couldn't believe what we were seeing. After he threw about half a dozen rocks near the back of the store he started making machine gun noises and backing toward the door. Once he got outside it sounded like he pretended to get on a motorcycle. Which, of course, didn't "start" right away. Then he took of toward the freeway at what sounded like full throttle. "Shifting" gears and everything.

Raider 2: That's insane! How does someone like that survive out here at all?

Raider 1: I don't know. There are some lunatics out there though.

(Taken from FO4, but too good of a story to not share.)

I placed some money towards the Kickstarter since I can't seem to enjoy System Shock as much as I enjoyed the second one.

It's a shame it looks like it won't make the minimum requirement and that none of the Stretch goals will be made. They have like 27 or something days to make $130,000.

Oh well, maybe the world isn't ready for a System Shock remake.

They also have a Demo on Steam that was pretty fun

Whenever I try to throw a tangerine, it keeps on burning my hand. What am I doing wrong ;_;

You do know the difference between a tangerine and a habanero, don't you?

*looks at Desert Ranger's hand*

No, maybe not...

*straightens tie and with a straight face*

Mistakes were made

I'm on Tinder and Bumble not taking it seriously, hoping to find a female counterpart of a similar mindset.

The girls I feel some feeling for at my school are an in relationships, one of which baffles me due to the insane nature of their interactions. But hey, bitches be crazy

I like my PS4, but its factory hard drive is criminally inefficient with new AAA games. I own a third of the games on my PS4 compared to my 360 and I've already run out of space.
