I am just glad that most of the people on this planet don't hold the same opinion as you, otherwise it would be a shitty place to live. sometimes that fact that a fellow human being is just that...a fellow human being should be 'stake' enough for you to care.
What's worse? Doing something you hate for people you don't know and pretending that you don't hate it? Or being honest about it? I say, since it's a stranger I have no stake in, better to put myself first, and if I truly don't want to chat, (and I believe that most people would prefer to be left alone as well, but I'm basing this hypothesis on the fact that most of the people who hit me up for small talk have mental issues.), best to be honest about it.
Because they'd have to be insane to want to talk to you?

I think all his stuff is great, he explores a lot of different ideas in his seperate books, I haven't caught him repeating himself yet. His latest was Matter but all of his books are really stand-alones and can be read in whatever order.

You're going to want to look for a place with four walls and a roof. Less than 4 walls, and you may be buying a tent.
And I simply cannot stress the part about the roof enough.

1) Make sure you get a buyer's agent who is looking out for your interests only, not the seller's
2) Get a pre-approved mortgage. Look at your finances so that you know what you can afford, and you know how far you can stretch to get that really nice place.
3) Go with your gut when looking at places. And don't be afraid to make snap decisions when viewing properties. Either you like it, or you don't. Also take notes, if you look at a lot of properties you'll never keep it all straight in your head.
4) I've heard that you can get good deals from short sales and repossessed properties, but it can be a bitch to get the bank to approve the sale.
