I'm probably really just posting to nobody at this point but it's strangely comforting to post this here to a community that was so important to me for a long time.

Turns out that I have cancer, muscle invasive in my Kidney and a 9cm mass in my Bladder, both most likely primaries and neither metastatic. The bladder one has been removed but there's a high chance of recurrence.  I'll have Chemo and if my bladder responds well Radio therapy and chemo as a combined treatment with my kidney being removed at some point. All pretty uncertain but at least things are being done.

This is very, very late. But for what it's worth, I'm sorry to hear about your cancer. I hope the treatments have been succesful.

1. And we haven't changed the board software since...well...forever. I think Chucara looked into it way back when and it was either very expensive or very incompatible with something or such.

I have backups of all the old posts, but no easy way to migrate. I did look a bit into it, but it would be a huge effort to get them all into this board. It isn't impossible to make a read-only version of it for your browsing pleasure, though, if you can live without all the bells and whistles (like proper formatting).

1. This place is nearly dead.. I am keeping it on life support for nostalgic reasons. Therefore, I abhor change. We are probably 1-2 decades behind the latest version of the forum software.

2. There definitely is a discord as Hoopy mentioned.

3. I have no idea what that was until now. Quite interesting, and I hope you are well.

4. Yes - there are a lot of new members waiting to get in, but I charge $3.50 and no-one seems to pay. (alternatively, they are all bots).

We've had another spam attack. More precautions have been taken to ensure it'll be 2 hours longer before it happens again.

It's so nice to hear from you again. There is bugger all activity here, but it warms my heart that people are still dropping in from time to time.

Also, I obviously try to sell all your personal data to the internet people, so the more, the merrier. Though so far, only Facebook has responded to ask me to refrain from contacting them ever again and asked me to delete my profile.

I'm hopeful. Microsoft hasn't had the same tendencies as others *cough* EA *cough* at ruining good game studios.

I think they may make their games Xbox+PC exclusive though. Since Sony has so many exclusive titles.

Well. I quit my job because I found a better one. But I have a 6-month competition clause, so now I'm unemployed and slowly developing cabin fever from being a stay-at-home-dad.

But I bought a new 3D printer and I picked up miniature painting as a hobby, which is a very relaxing non-electronical passtime.

Yeah, so the thing about guys: we don't get subtle hints. We don't even get "cover my body in chocolate and wait for you naked on the bed"-level of hints.

Soo. Having read a few reviews and judging by the mob's reaction on reddit, I guess I'll give this one a pass. Also, I have zero time to actually play any games at the moment.

Any opposition, or is there something salvageble about this game?
