One of my professors summed it up pretty nicely when he said "People may not agree with what Trump says, but they know he wants change and that resonates with them" or something along those lines

I really don't understand that point of view, I mean, British politics went to shit in the last election, because it was a battle between two people who don't believe in anything and all of them were the same. The only people who wanted change were the far right with their 'send the buggers back' policies but I wouldn't vote for them on the basis that they want 'change' because it's the wrong kind of change.
