On a thread on the forums of a certain site that shall remain nameless (as odds are you know which one I mean) some folks have gone into overtime mode with piling on the hate towards Bethesda and what they've done to Fallout 3 and how the game will be a failure.
I hate fanboys. I'll give anything half a chance before I'll judge it.
For example, when Fallout came out, it was nothing like Wasteland, the game it was a spiritual successor to. I wouldn't say I liked either one better than the other. Both had well fleshed out storylines and NPC interactions. (Though, memory and disk space being what it was at the time, Wasteland used a booklet of paragraphs that detailed NPC interactions in the storyline.) At first I wasn't sure I would like FO when I started playing, since I was expecting something more along the lines of Wasteland, but it didn't take long to realize that the game had all the charm of the Wasteland, even if the gameplay was completely different.
