And there's System Shock 3 coming as well... Maybe this aging thing isn't so bad after all. :D

You know, I bet if one of the more tabloidy papers here chance upon that one, they report about it at least on their website. And it's even gonna have a poll that asks whether it's true. :)

Then again, mostly that kind of news is just copy-pasted and translated, sometimes "translated", from some other source, so it might not happend at all, unless I give them a hint about it.

When Dame Edna was at a finnish tycoon's birthday party and made jokes about the guests, the headline read: "Dame Edna mocked Nalle's finnish guests", although the interviewed guy who was at the party was actually in awe of how well Dame Edna had done her homework. :D

Then there was the time when Dennis Miller made fun of Finland in Leno's show. That got reported. I was like, who?

Although, it did occur to me just know, that maybe someone is trolling both sides. I must be growing cynical, when it comes to the internets. :D

Heh. It seems to me, that the republican party of Maine has jumped ship and joined the democrats, but they aren't telling anyone.

In any case, it's better to vote for an orc than a troll.

You're quite welcome.

I kinda got stuck trying to come up with an explanation. It seems that my language skills in both english and finnish have started to fuck each other - in a non-sexual way - over the years, so now I easily begin to use english way of writing stuff in finnish and only have hunches about the actual proper way to say stuff in english.

Some of the finnish translations of books seem to fall into this finglish trap as well. You can understand what is being said, of course, but the expressions sound just a little bit...retarded.

Anyway, the text sounds very...archaic. It sounds like some newsreel or a...commercial from the 1930's quite frankly. :)

Occasionally the word mitä doesn't actually mean what, but can be used in a sort of statement fashion, like the "more important the work, the more active...blah" etc. I'm trying to think whether there are other ways to use it, but I'm afraid that's the best I can do at 2 am.

Wow!

More important the job, the more active must the mind be, more perfect must the focus on the task be, so it would succeed.
Club 7 quickens your thoughts, it enhances, it helps to concentrate, so it is an unsurpassed aid at work. It gives the smoker just the refreshing buzz that he/she needs at the job as well as relaxation.

Those were the days.

Must say, until I played New Vegas, I didn't even realize how many little details in FO3 sort of bugged me. Not that I didn't enjoy it, though. It's just that New Vegas felt...real...er Fallout experience.

So, I finally bought New Vegas! It took it's sweet time, and now I'm almost nervous to play the game. After some furious replaying of FO3, I think the main story rocks, but the game could have used a helluva lot more attention to detail. For instance, Shrapnel doesn't even seem to notice that his partner has been sold to slavers or that he is even gone... and I would have thought that a nuclear explosion in the neighborhood would have initiated a bit more conversation among the wastelanders... :)

Too much average action.

Oh gawd, I hate that egg guy...

That dude won a comic character contest a while back.

I didn't vote for him nor watch the program, so why do I have to suffer the consequences of other people's actions? It's not fair. ;D
