Hey kid Where in the north of england?

I can never figure out the right way to answer that question. If I should lay the douche on thick or act like it's no big deal. We'll see which comes out. Living in a small town called Alnwick not too far from the Scottish border.

lol so weird, I went to Alnwick Castle last Sunday . I live in Newcastle now, hence asking where in NE. How come you're living there?
I am posting my pic of Hagrid from last weekend! (though I have to admit I loathe anything Harry Potter-related, it was cute to see the kids' reactions)

It's been 3 years since I've last been on here. Not sure what compelled me to pop UV into google but I'm glad I did. Short update because I doubt many of you remember me: One semester left of my bachelor's, on a year-long hiatus working on a study abroad program in northern England, and missing my dog.

How are all of you? It's great to see that this community is still kicking.

Man, whatever!  I suspect that the only reason you are back is that I sent you a facebook message, and you never even replied!

Of course lara asked me to harass you via facebook, I probably wouldn't have bothered you otherwise.  but the fact remains!  You do not have a very strong Indignance Platform to stand on!

But she did accept my Friend Request, so she clearly respected or feared you enough to comply

heyooooo!

i havent been around a lot, actually, this is the first time i've logged in since like last christmas eek! then i met up with lara and thanatos on the facebooks and was reminded of this place. so: im checking in and pleased to see that folks are still alive and well. yayz!

i finished my masters! so, since my married last-name is baker, you may call me "master baker." hahaha!

went to europe this summer, studied abroad in germany, visited france, switzerland, italy, spain. it was the awesomest trip/vacation/study abroad experience EVAR. husband tagged along and had trouble finding cigarettes in paris. i gained 10 lbs from german beer. it was great.

recently got a new job so i can now become a grown up.  hopefully this will occur soon, since i'm now seriously indebted with student loans and am ready to earn some actual monies.

I just got back from vacation but I'm  decrypting my New Vegas files on Steam as I type.  I came here to see what people thing and found Silver Dragon's thread.
I had mentioned FNV last time I posted here a few weeks ago, but noone even seemed to have heard of it
I don't want to lose touch with people, but though I have a Facebook and a Twitter, I literally never go to either except to read other people's business. I can't imagine what I would put there!
So in case this forum does die (and I notice spam on main page from 10 days ago that hasnt been removed, so it's already rotting nicely ) if anyone from the medium old-days wants to add me on MSN, my nick on that  is lara_fragilechild@yahoo.com.

I never heard from scammer after I asked to meet him, but now I'm super paranoid about my email! Changing passwords is all very well, but I instantly forget any password that is complicated enough to deter a hacker!

Well he hasnt replied to me, which he obviously couldnt since he isnt actually Dick
But I expect an email tomorrow am claiming that he fell asleep, didnt get my mail till too late, and is now on way to Heathrow where he will collect the cash  - at which point I will inform him that my fiancé is in London and will drop it off to him at the meeting place of his choice, with an extra $500 as a cheer-up gift from us both

I've replied asking how I can help The more I can inconvenience and bother them, thebetter. I googled the address, it's a convenience store, I called the number after blocking mine, and although it was answered, noone spoke, so I hung up - adventure and intrigue!
