Yarr! What be da.... *ahem*

So, whats the latest on the downloading of things?

I get home from work at midnight, and i like to have an hour wind-down and dinner-eating before sleep... problem being theres never anything worth watching on telly, so Ive been using dvds, but im about to run out  :mean:

I think I have a disc somewhere with limewire on it, but i wont bother diggin it out if theres something better out there.

Also, if you have any tips on good places/mean of finding TV/Movie downloads then that'd be good too.

I'd recommend the cheapest Netflix plan.  $8.00 and change a month and you have unlimited DVD rentals, one at a time as fast as you can watch them and send them back, plus unlimited access to whatever movies that they have streaming on their site, which is a lot of different stuff including TV series box sets and whatnot.  Not bad for the price, plus not illegal.  They may not hang you for piracy anymore, but there still be some severe penalties awaitin' ye' matey!

1) Limewire is a free download. You don't need a disc.

2) Limewire is shit.

3) Netflix is for the USA only.

4) Hulu.com is for the USA only

5) Bittorrent is free. It is world-wide. Men in black will not be knocking on your door to haul you away to a siberian gulag. http://www.utorrent.com/ is a good client and has a setup guide which I haven't bothered to peruse (http://www.utorrent.com/guides.php). If you're interested I have some links to public torrent search engines as well.

6. Read more books.

i jsut found its got old movies and tv shows. i believe you can watch online, i havent explored enough to figure if they're full episodes of everything or not.
