just watched Requiem for a dream and wow that was a good movie. Then i watched 300 and monster squad which i think is a odd assortment to watch :)

I haven't seen either of those other Bergman films, he's made so many.  The Seventh Seal has been mentioned to me before, so I'm sure I'll get to it.

8 1/2 is by far my favorite Fellini.  Mastroianni does a fantastic job in it as well.  Not enough movies can be described as Carnivalesque these days...

omg everyone must go see stardust. best fantasy movie i've seen in a lonnnnnnnng time. i daresay i enjoyed it more than lord of the rings (i know). it's fabulous, and a terrific date movie.

I heard a favourable comparison somewhere between Stardust and The Princess Bride (which just happens to be my all-time favourite movie), so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.
