Unwashed Village / Fallout 2's final stage is a lot harder than I remembered it being...

Been playing through F2 again and after helping a bunch of scruffy ruffians kill a spammer, committing rat regicide and getting thrown out of Vault City, I reached the Enclave Oil Rig.

I can't believe the stuff you have to do to get anywhere, assassinating the President of the United States is the easy part of it and once you've dealt with that, you have to take on Frank Horrigan and his merry band of gun turrets. :S

Looks like it's back to grinding for me. T.T

We have left the clutches of Europe and have sailed away from it! Now we are re-instating the British Empire and we're taking back our colonies.

I'm happy to announce that we are taking American back and will be reversing centuries of progress, we're going to make Trump seem small time.

Oh wait, we haven't left the Europe yet!
Okay, we will get you next year!

Unwashed Village / A question for poets: How does non ryming poetry work?

This probably sounds insanely daft but despite studying such poems for a year of my life, I'm not exactly sure what separates a poem from any other piece of writing. Is there a certain structure that you have to follow, like a sonnet?

Didn't realise that I didn't know until today, when I was copying one down.

No, I'm not talking about the millions of screwed up shirts that at I have on my floor, I'm of course talking about Max Stone's Unwashed Villager's shirt. 

Finally ordered one with my paycheck, I was under theimpresson that it would have the UV logo on the back but apparently not :/

Got it in long sleeved varient since I don't have many gaming shirts for winter.

Thought it'd be fun to show off what we could do with Fallout 4's new face sculptor.

I'm sick of making Caucasian guys with brown hair (except for Fallout 2 where I was a Caucasian girl with black hair and Fallout: Tactics where I was a goth and Fallout: Project Brazil, if that counts), so I originally planned to make a Japanese woman but because there's no Japanese race preset, my character ended up looking like an abomination.

I ended up making an American woman of Japanese descent.

Well over a year ago, I sent of for Elder Scrolls Online's Imperial Edition and it finally came the other day. It's the main game that comes in a fancy ass tin case, with several vanity items, a leather bound lore book and a statue of Molag Bal.

If I ever get a job and end up as someone's boss, I'm putting this statue on my desk. I'm pretty sure that that would be a great thing for an employee to see after being summoned for 'a talk.'

I don't normally buy collector's editions except for franchises that I'm really into. I figured that I'd share this one.

Yep, you read that right, I woke up to that headline and had to rub my eyes but apparently Brian Fargo trademarked Van Buren about a year ago and considering that he's been on a crusade to revive Wasteland and Bard's tale? I can see this potentially happening...

This is pretty awesome, considering that this year people have Fallout 4 and Project Brazil to look forward to and now this?

Please let it be so...

I'm not exactly sure what to make of it, production wise it looks okay, story wise I'm not so sure. Though, I'm sure that I'd be terrified if I was being hunted by the bastard child of Bane and Colonel Radec.

A lot of people have instantly reacted negatively towards it but I have a more wait and see attitude, it does seem to capture the spirit of the original in a number of instances and I'm amazed that so many people are shocked that Mel Gibson isn't going to be in it (at least not as Max).
