It's got a 1970's Sci Fi feel to it. Very Buck Rogers or Battlestar Galatica.

Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

It's from Terrorhawks I think.

After some quick research it is indeed the Terrorhawks and that thing is a Zeroid, there's an embedded youtube video of the credits in this thread: http://www.type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45765&page=4

I used to love the terrorhawks, scared the hell out of me though.

Terrahawks, yes - I believe the Zeroid in that picture is Sergeant Major Zero. They where able to increase their own mass and made a distinct "boing" sound when they bounced. The enemy counterparts where called the Cubes.

Oddly enough, I vaguely remember seeing an episode or two of the Terrahawks in my youth. Probably on some cable channel while on vacation or something, because until I looked them up in Wikipedia I had no clue what you all were talking about. The mention of the hermaphrodite baby particularly jogged my memory.
