What did you learn today?
« on: March 07, 2008, 08:05:08 PM »
Today I learned:
1.  Zombies can't run because... "Zombies don't run," he states firmly. "They can't! Their ankles would snap."   - George Romero
2. The answer to the universe is 42.  I know, everyone knows this.  Except me.  For some reason I thought it was 17.
3. You can now learn fishing beyond skill 150 without having to be level 20 anymore.  OK, I learned that yesterday but I really wanted a #3 here.

"I lost my game of NT: Garry's fault. Global warming: Garry's fault. End-of-the-Universe: Garry's fault. See it always fits. Anyway, what is Garry up to? No good I bet." - Laszlo
"As for your French, it's probably better than the average English-speaking Frenchman's Finnish! (Or something.)" - wa
"I'm back at Thunderfalls now and every minute thinking of poking a bandit in the eye with a fishhook." - Preyveil
"and yet still nothing has made it to BC's signature!"-KMD

That if your mower has been away for 10 weeks getting fixed the grass grows very long. Then, when you try to mow it, it takes 5 times longer.

That playing Rock Band does not make you a rock star.

Also, that I need to practice my real guitar a lot more. My hand hurts.

That life is cruel.

20 years ago I said... when I'm rich I'm going to buy this game.

I'm not rich but it's at a LOW LOW price of $500.00 but I have to be responsible! =( It just wouldn't be right to buy it for a few other personal reasons (right now) but ONE day I will own this game. I just won't own it today.

Sigh... I was awesome at this game. I could consistently get to the Icy Roads stage.

Will I get Night Owl points for quitting but not as much for getting fired?
Will I still be a member of the Owl's Pals? I'd hate to turn in my card. It's got a real owl feather under the lamination and everything.

Night Owl: Oh, indeed. I quit many a job ...better than being fired. You can keep your card... in fact, you get double points for quitting!

That I am totally awesome and everyone else who says anything to the contrary is wrong.

Ahh, who am I kidding? I always knew that! ;P
And since today has barely started...hmm...

I learnt that I'm going to need a bigger boat.

I always wanted to buy  Outrun.

I was never crazy about video arcade games but for some reason, I always like this one.  Especially the funky music.

I still want to buy one of those tabletop Magic Sword games.

Always reminds me of this Pizza Hut where I grew up, they actually had a full sit-down area with a salad bar and all that (which is becoming more and more rare down here, dunno if it's the same nationwide).
