System Shock Is Getting Remade

Doom, System Shock and SS remind me of a phone conversation I used to have with my brother

"Hello?"
"Hi Brian, how's things"
"Ok, *making up something that isn't about spinning the camera left and right in Tomb Raider or pausing Street Fighter* I went...*faint growling at the other side of the phone*
"Holy shit!!!!" *frantic clicking muttering about mouse balls and dirt*
"Are you playing Doom / System Shock again?"
"No, System Shock / Doom! fucking Imps / nurses I can hear them but I can't see them"
"Do you want company"
"Yes please."

Then I'd stay on the phone till his nerves were completely shredded and he went off to play Civ, he's the same with horror films

I placed some money towards the Kickstarter since I can't seem to enjoy System Shock as much as I enjoyed the second one.

It's a shame it looks like it won't make the minimum requirement and that none of the Stretch goals will be made. They have like 27 or something days to make $130,000.

Oh well, maybe the world isn't ready for a System Shock remake.

They also have a Demo on Steam that was pretty fun
