"Kick-Ass"

How can you find fault with a film where the highest body count is by an 11-year girl?  Who curses worse than me? (check IMDB for some great quotes; after she tells her Dad she want's a cute cuddly puppy, and Dad reacts with a stunned silence, she says, giggling, "Oh Daddy, I'm just fucking with ya!")

But without her, the movie would have undoubtedly sucked.

Sequel in the works, I hear...
"for the record, I'm not some kind of psychotic provincialist." - Than (ed: Cit. required)
"I lost my game of NT: Garry's fault. Global warming: Garry's fault. End-of-the-Universe: Garry's fault. See it always fits. Anyway, what is Garry up to? No good I bet." - Laszlo
"As for your French, it's probably better than the average English-speaking Frenchman's Finnish! (Or something.)" - wa
"I'm back at Thunderfalls now and every minute thinking of poking a bandit in the eye with a fishhook." - Preyveil
"and yet still nothing has made it to BC's signature!"-KMD

The comic is even more brutal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kick-Ass_(comics)

My favorite tidbit was from Wizard, the little girl actress's mom was on set (as is usually the case with child actors) and they didn't want to push it too far, so they edited it down a little bit. But the mom read the comic and the script and said "hmm... maybe you should have her use the c-word."

I want to adopt that woman as my mother.
