i know i'm kinda insane and occasionally act decades older than i really am, but i know you can mostly appreciate this. (my favorite site that always makes me wish that i had more money and more tallent)

not something currently in theatres (though i do highly recomend wall-e for everyone), cuz ticket prices are kinda high and i'm more than kinda broke.
i currently recomend Wristcutters: a Love Story.
basic plot: guy off's himself and ends up in an afterlife where it's just like home.

twas interesting. not quite as bad as i expected.
first morning there (wensday) i learned how to surf, was able to get up 1/3 of the time, stayed up much less. 3 hour lesson, the rest of the day turned me four shades of red. i'm peeling for the first time in a long time.
friday we went to little tokyo. i got a dozen laser pointers for $6 as we were walking back to the train. we passed through the toy district, which seemed to be dollar store surplus (but it was the 4th, so not everything was open).
saturday we went to universal. simpsons ride = awesome <<<<< longest line we stood in for a ride at 20-30 min, the only thing that was longer was waiting for the universal backlot tour. apparently they are going for jarassic park 4 at some point, dunno why, just the rumor the guide said.
then thursday (came home friday) we got stranded in butfuck cali. went to hot springs, which included offroading in a minivan, and the transmission got punctured or something. my mom, brother, sister and i spent four hours while my dad went to get a tow (there was no signal for any phone till at least a half hour away). the road to get to where we were was 17 miles long, took at least an hour and a half to get down (and up), and was on top on the mountain ridge. that was fun in the tow truck.
we have at least 900 pictures that i just transfered from my laptop to this computer, i dont know if i'll post any later on.

took a crash course in ceramics and i dont recommend taking three weeks to do what should be done in eight. my file sizes are kinda big cuz my camera is lame and wont let my adjust it, so i'll be posting three different times for the three pieces i made. when these pictures were taken we hadnt glazed yet, they look slightly different now.
first up: alien moracca.
wanted to make a mario mushroom, but it teacher lady would have yelled at me because of the cliche. when i drew out this design it looked like an alien head and when i was building it everyone told me it looked like a moracca. thus, the alien moracca.

Unwashed Village / LA for the one who doesnt much care to go

it's the classic 'acd doesnt want to go on vacation with her family' moment. what do i do?
the parents have a dance show in LA and have decided to pull off family vacation time. first ten days of july i'll be in LA and the surrounding area, what is there to do? the siblings and i are going to spend the weekend at universal studio and i really want to go to jay and silent bob's secret stash.
does anyone know of anything else to do in the area that isnt entirly 'OMG hollywood!' and is there anything special that might be going on for july fourth?

Unwashed Village / Something Horrible Has Happened

maybe not horrible, but it is a major inconvienience to me.
soda spilled on my computer. now it wont start. this did happen a half hour ago and it could just need time to dry out. i've already gotten what i could. or at least most of it. right now it's sitting on the desk without a battery waiting to see what happens for now.
what i kinda would like to know if anyone can help,
a) do i jsut wait and see tomorrow or later tonight if it works?
b) take it apart myself when i get a chance and try to sop up the sitcky?
c) take it in to computer services place at school and have them take a look at it?
d) other.
anyone?
