So I finished a pretty good Kara run last night
« on: December 04, 2007, 03:49:42 PM »
Despite the fact that we couldn't get back into it until it was about to reset and started hell of late so we only cleared through Prince.

Now, you have to remember that I only got back into the game, what, 3 or 4 months ago?

In one run, I got:

Stalker's War Bands   http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28454 off of Attumen

Gloves of Quickening http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28519 off of Maiden
(incidentally I'm not even using these gloves as I'm survival now and my beast lord gauntlets are hell of better, especially since I've preserved my 4-piece bonus)

Legacy http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28587 off of the Oz event

some random epic belt that I can't remember the name of, it's int, 15mp5, and 40ish ap, doubt I'll use it

and finally, Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28772 off of Prince.

Admittedly I'm not using 2 of them, but still, 5 purples in one freakin' run?  Legacy AND the Sunfury Bow?

I am happy.
I fall and I leap and
I'm freaking out
Nowhere near my place and I
Know that they've seen me now

Sounds like you had a blast in there :) Yeah, you made out like a bandit!

I cringe whenever I see Legacy. I've seen 2 WARRIORS with it, and one was wearing half prot gear with mongoose on it.... -_-

Warriors with Legacy?  How many item points is that wasted on mp5?  What could they possibly be thinking?

If you don't play WOW you have no idea what half of the world is saying  :)

I've thought about taking the game up but I'm be almost willing to guarantee I'd get totally lost in it, seems like a compelling game but the grind to see the new stuff puts me off nearly as much as the life sucking nature of the thing... I'm bad enough with peggle.

Well, they did recently significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to get to lvl 60 (which is where you start seeing new content).  Basically they're trying to entice people like you into playing.  =)

It's pretty awesome, I gotta say.  There's a lot more to do once you hit max level now than there was back when I used to play.

Sounds like my Zul'Aman run last night:

Life Step Belt For my healing spec during weekends
Wub's Cursed Hexblade 'cause I'm still working on a decent set of BOOMkin gear
Tiny Voodoo Mask

Also won a healing mask and a healing mace, but passed them to a random we'd brought along as they were both marginal upgrades and the poor bastard was still in blues. I love Zul'Aman, such a fun instance ^-^

So should we have a sticky where we can list our characters/servers so that we can do the Village Share Huggies?

Or should we just leave it alone so that I can level up faster without having to share my XP with all you newbs!
